Robinson was released on December 16, 2011, and soon hit the Top of the largest mobile app stores.
Less than two months after its release the game entered the Top of most selling apps in Russia and ranked among the highest grossing games on Google Play. The game achieved leading positions in the largest Korean mobile app store “T-Store” ranking second. In March 2012, according to the analytics company Distimo, Robinson became one of the most commercially successful applications for the Korean Google Play.
According to App Annie, an independent analytics company involved in mobile market studies and digital content distributions, Korea is one of the most creditworthy countries. Korean mobile users willingly spend money on buying new applications.
